Life cycles of plants

In our first science lesson of our new topic - Living things and their habitats - we dissected flowers to learn about the different parts and how fertilisation takes place.  We compared these parts in lilies and roses.

Then we learned about asexual plants and are trying to clone our own mint plants!

History - Vikings

We made board games to show the trade routes the Vikings used, what they traded and likely problems along the way.

 

Harvest

We made some amazing origami leaf wreaths for our Harvest celebration in church and also wrote some poems to show our appreciation for the farmers.
